Cancellation and changes: 

• 60 or more days prior to the wedding day 50% of contracted services are locked in. Changes can be made to any and all party members if we are able to accommodate, without falling below the minimum. If cancellations are made, a 50% fee of the above contractual total for services listed above, will be incurred for any services not rendered or canceled up to the entire party.

• 45 days or less prior to the wedding day 100% of contracted services are locked in. Changes can be made, and all efforts will be made to accommodate additional requests. This includes adding services, moving the timeline and swapping services. If a cancellation is caused due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, the total refund amount will be discussed and assessed individually. This includes pandemics, bodily injury to the bride or groom, or other extreme cases. This does not include cancellations due to weather, changing your mind, or canceling the wedding, and you are responsible for 100% of the amount on the quote.

 

• Minimums If at any time, the number of individuals falls below the minimum, the bride will be asked to pay that minimum, otherwise, True Vermont Beauty maintains the right to cancel services for failure to meet the minimum. 2024 Minimum - $1,400 in services on the day of the wedding.

Tools / Products

• Please note that all tools, and products used and provided by True Vermont Beauty are not for personal use by party members, or other individuals not contracted with True Vermont Beauty.

 

• A party member may bring in their own hair extensions to be applied, however, True Vermont Beauty will not be held responsible if the extensions are not 100% human hair or purchased from True Vermont Beauty. Synthetic and Hybrid hair can melt to human hair as well as not look realistic.

Trials​

• Trials can take place at the salon Monday through Friday as weekends are dedicated to weddings. They are not recommended further out than 8 weeks prior to the wedding.

Day Of

• Please arrive on time with CLEAN and DRY hair. Damp hair is not dry, the hair needs to be dry. If there are concerns for any specific reason, please reach out ahead of time to discuss the particulars.

 

• Please wear a button-down or zippered shirt for easy removal that does NOT have a hood.

 

• Please arrive with a CLEAN and moisturized face.

 

• If a member would like to provide their own makeup or hair products for True Vermont Beauty to use, that is OK; however, if the hair or makeup does not hold up to the standard expected of the member, True Vermont Beauty will not be held responsible.
   

• Every member needs to arrive with photos of the hair and makeup they want before sitting in the chair for services if they were not sent ahead of time to True Vermont Beauty.
   

• All hair pieces, veils, additions, and flowers need to be pre-arranged and present for True Vermont Beauty to apply.

Drugs

• True Vermont Beauty reserves the right to refuse any and all services to any individual partaking or appearing to be under the influence of prescription or recreational drugs and behaving inappropriately while receiving services. This includes heroine, opioids, cannabis, cocaine, fentanyl and any other substance being used and abused. This impacts our ability to provide the best service possible and the desired outcome. If you are under the influence and not able to behave appropriately, you will not receive services and will be held responsible for the full price of contracted services. Please do not offer any member of True Vermont Beauty any drugs at anytime. Alcohol is not considered as such and is permitted in a safe and responsible manner.

Photos

• True Vermont Beauty holds the right to photograph our work, and have access to the hired photographers' work; and use those images for advertising after the event has taken place.  If requested and specified, certain individuals can remain anonymous or without their face pictured. Frequently it is best for us to gain photos from the hired photographer or the bride after the event. All photos used will be given credit if taken by the hired photographer.

Covid

•  If for any reason the state of Vermont or the Federal Government restricts public gatherings of 50 or more people, you are entitled to a full refund if True Vermont Beauty is unable to accommodate the date chosen.
